The Quilcene PTK is parents, teachers and kids working in collaboration to support the children and staff at Quilcene Elementary School by strengthening relationships, providing opportunities to enrich school experiences, and assisting in efforts to solve school needs by coordinating volunteers and raising funds.

A Few Reasons to join PTK

• PTK helps kids achieve more. When parents get connected to the school, children get better grades, do better on tests, and have fewer discipline problems.  

• PTK nurtures communication. When you build a relationship with your child's teachers, principal, and office staff, it will be far easier to communicate about any problem (or victory) that occurs throughout the year.

• PTK creates the village that helps to raise our kids and strengthen our community. 

• PTK links families to important school and community information. The PTK knows what’s happening with the school and who's involved.

• PTK hosts fun, educational events for our families.

• PTK raises money to support the specific needs of our school.

• PTK inspires a love of reading and enhances students’ book and literary options.

• PTK offers networking opportunities. Have fun and meet new people! Show your passion and sense of community while making new friends that share your commitment to our children.

• By becoming a PTK member, you’re also becoming a role model and demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education as well as on being involved in their world.
