PEARL students have various opportunities to extend their learning out into the real world through our field trips and community based instructors. We also offer numerous exciting and educational Zoom classes for students to participate in each semester.
Zoom Classes
Zoom classes are taught by PEARL teachers and are based on what we have found to be needed by families and interesting to students. Here are some classes that have been taught in the past:
Animal Habitats Around the World

Washington State History

Community Based Instructors
Community Based Instructors (CBIs) are a wonderful part of the PEARL program. Through CBIs students can take lessons like tae kwon doe, dance and theater. They can also enjoy creative art classes or receive tutoring in a challenging subject. PEARL works with highly recommended instructors in our student's local area to increase access to enriching activities.
Field Trips
A highlight for many students in PEARL is their participation in field trips. Field trips are arranged throughout the year to enhance academic learning and offer a depth of experience in certain areas that can only be done outside the walls of the classroom (be that in a house or a school!).
