Noah Tirao
Noah Tirao is a 8th grade student at the Quilcene School. He always seems to be smiling and in a good mood. Noah’s positive attitude is contagious. He is a leader by example and is respected by students and staff. He is athletic and has a team first attitude. In the classroom, he is a hard worker and is usually the first person to submit assignments. He is a pleasure to have in class.

August Jaber
August is a standout senior who truly embodies the spirit of our school. A talented writer, he brings creativity and insight to his work, always striving for excellence. Beyond the classroom, August is the kind of student who lends a hand without hesitation or complaint, making a positive impact on those around him. Emmett Hames
Emmet Hames, a 4th grader, is an exceptional student who inspires everyone around him. He’s a fantastic mathematician, and his kindness and sense of humor make him a joy to be around. Emmet is a deep thinker with a poetic way of seeing the world—he finds art in almost everything he does. He’s also a great friend to everyone and an incredible athlete who loves competing on the field and at recess. At such a young age, Emmet has already shown an impressive interest in social issues and a desire to make the world a better place. He continues to grow and excel as both a reader and a learner.

Jennica Nino
Jennica Nino, a high school sophomore at Quilcene High School, shines in every academic area. Jennica has multiple art pieces in the Quilcene art show, is a strong student in Geometry, and a brilliant writer. Jennica, who is a kind, empathetic student, is well-respected by her peers and teachers alike. Jennica is a positive presence among the student body in Quilcene High School.

Thomas Sandall
Congratulations to our student of the month Thomas Sandall. Thomas has consistently shown his respect and kindness to all of his peers around him. His hard work and determination have set him apart, not only is he showing advanced skills and understanding of subjects, he is also excelling in his endeavours with his first grade peers in math. Thomas approaches every challenge with enthusiasm and a positive attitude showing his love for learning. Keep shining and inspiring Thomas!

Tana Canterbury
Tana has shown incredible maturity this school year by showing enthusiasm for learning. She enters the classroom environment happy, enthusiastic, and ready to learn each day. Not only has she been a wonderful example to her classmates this year she is also showing strong leadership skills for the younger kids on campus. Tana has been reading and advocating for herself to start working with some of our younger Quilcene students to pursue a future career in education!
