Superintendent Frank RedmonHello, and Happy Summer to you all!!!

My name is Frank Redmon and I am so honored, so happy to be part of your community and serve as the school Superintendent. Sharon, my wife, and my three boys Max, Jack and Frank (the fourth!) are also very excited to come back to Washington. After eight years of being away from the Evergreen State, coming back to the smells, sights, sounds and people is like coming home to us.

I believe that relationships and communication are vital to a school district and the community it serves. I have begun to meet community members as I have walked through Quilcene and stopped in to talk to folks. I would very much like to continue to meet and learn from you and your experiences - everything from your interactions with the district to the best hiking trails, fishing spots, and eateries (and everything else!)

To that end, I first want to make myself available to the community over the summer. If you would like to meet with me, please send Jamie an email (jsukert@qsd48.org) or call the office (360-765-3363) to get on my calendar. Also, I will be hosting a monthly meeting - an informal drop-in for those interested - to talk about a specific topic. I would like to hear from you, the community, about how things have worked in the past, how we might improve, and talk about your ideas for the future of the Quilcene School District. The first meeting will be on July 18th at 10 a.m. (the board room) to talk about district-to-community communications.

I am very proud to be a Ranger, and I thank you for inviting me to join the team.

Have a great summer!

Frank Redmon
