We want to give a huge shoutout to our Students of the Week, Jayden Minish and Brianne Evans. Jayden was nominated by his MS humanities teacher for being proactive about his assignment due dates, and Brianne was nominated by her HS Algebra teacher for earning a 100% on her Chapter 6 Test.
Next, as a reminder, conferences are taking place this week. A letter was sent home last week detailing how these look in the different grade levels. Please see me or contact the front office with any questions. Next year's schedule has additional conference time, and we're excited to work with staff and families to discuss how to improve the way that we conference with parents in the future. While conferences are a great way for our staff to meet with parents, please remember that, as a small school, families should feel welcome to engage with their child's teachers at all times.
Finally, in this week's Weekly Update, highlights include a very informative article on how teachers can use ChatGPT to maximize learning time, a reminder that the Snow Make Up day is coming up and will take place on Saturday, April 22nd, a more in-depth highlight of the Students of the Week, and upcoming events (lots of home fastpitch and baseball games this week!).
