Congratulations to the Ranger Football Team, which have again made it into the state tournament. The team will be traveling to Walla Walla this Friday to play Desalles at 3:00pm.
Congratulations are also in order for our students of the week, Daisy Bloom and Kaden Faller. Daisy is being recognized for amazing work in her math class, and Kaden for tremendous perseverance in his computer science class.
Before we get to the Weekly Update, this Friday there will be no school in observance of Veteran's Day. On Thursday, we're inviting all veterans to campus for a special assembly which will take place at 10:00 am in the gym. Veterans should plan on arriving beginning at 9:30 am, at which time they'll be met by student volunteers and offered coffee and pastries. Veteran's will then be invited for a special lunch at the conclusion of the assembly.
As far as the Weekly Update, this week we again recognize our students of the week, discuss this week's upcoming activities, talk about the importance of student agency in school, and review conferences which are just around the corner.

I hope everyone had a super fun Halloween. It was wonderful to see all of the students dressed up throughout the day!
I want to give a huge shoutout to coaches Crowell and Beck and all of the ladies for a great Volleyball season.
From the academic recognition front, a huge shoutout is in order for this week's Students of the Week, James Scanlon and Charlie Hames. James was nominated for his outstanding work with the IT department and Charlie for his proactive communication with his teachers. In addition to recognizing these students, this week's Weekly Update also includes information about upcoming fall conferences, this week's events (including playoff football!), and an article speaking about the importance of literacy being taught across all subjects.
