Congratulations to Coach Thompson and our Fastpitch team who have earned the right to represent our community at the state tournament in Yakima on Friday. We will be having a sendoff for the team at 9:00 am on Thursday out front, and it would be great to have the whole community show up to support the team!
Please see the links below for this week's Weekly Update. We will be sending the elementary newsletter home with all K-5 students at the end of the school day tomorrow.

Yesterday, current and former staff along with family and friends gathered at Finn River to celebrate 32 years of service to the Quilcene School District by Carrie Thompson who is retiring in June.
Carrie has filled many roles at the district through the years including Bus Driver, Paraeducator, Coach, Athletic Director and in the last 15 years as the school office Administrative Assistant/Registrar.
These titles do not begin to encompass all that she has done for the kids and staff at Quilcene. The stories that were shared at the event were truly heartfelt. It is evident that her time here has benefited us all and we will miss her daily presence here at school.
We wish her the best in her retirement. Thank you for your service Carrie!!!

Included this week is a focus on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), which is a framework we've been using for several years to help promote positive student behavior (it also works well at home!).
