NOTICE OF POSSIBLE COUNCIL QUORUM

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a quorum of the Quilcene School District Board will having dinner together on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Room 9 at 6:00 pm to discuss the annual WSSDA conference. No School Board action will be taken.

Quilcene School District Planning Meeting

Hello Rangers! 

We need your help, ideas, and thinking to help refine our plans for the Elementary School replacement, and construction of CTE Maker Space/Shop, and a Weight Room/Conditioning gym. There will be a series of meetings to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be a part of this exciting project. Below are the times we have set, with other meetings in the planning stages. Some of the meetings will be in person only (because of internet limitations) and others will be both in-person and via Zoom. 

Meeting Times and Dates: 

• November 30th Meeting - Assembly of God Church @ 5:30

• December 3rd Meeting - Quilcene Harbor Yacht Club @ 5:30

• December 9th Meeting - Quilcene School District 4:30 - 6:00

Light refreshments will be provided. If you need child care support to be able to attend, please contact Jami Sukert at jsukert@qsd48.org or 360-765-2900.

Good Afternoon,

Earlier today the National Weather Service issued a regional tornado warning. Consequently, the school was operating under "shelter in place" conditions for roughly 30 minutes until the warning expired. During this time, students were kept inside, and any students needing to move between buildings did so with the assistance of staff.
